On September 26.2003 the new MDF line has been put into production at Zheshart Plywood Mill ( Republic of Komi).

Using famous Swedish machinery Sunds Defibrator, this line will produce up to 130 thousands cubic meters a year.
The main material for MDF boards is birch. All products characteristics, formats, thickness is specially produced for furniture manufacturers, which in fact are the main customers for MDF boards.

Soon afterwards UPG plans to expand boards assortment. For that purpose a new scientific and technical center was organized. The center equipped with miniature production line that enables to process technical and quality control data.
