In the context of the program of improving the quality of MDF United Panel Group has launched a new debarking line.

At the MDF plant in the Komi republic there has been launched a new debarking line produced by the Finnish company Valon Kone.

The new line of debarking and raw materials preparation will allow UPG to produce the panels with higher technological characteristics and improved quality of the surface. The absence of bark inside a panel will provide a good appearance and provide very good results while milling and facing that is one of the most important characteristics of MDF for the furniture production.

In the context of the program of the product development and quality improving UPG will use some new glue. It will allow to get more stable and high indexes of ecological compatibilities of the MDF panels and to keep the formaldehyde emission class at the E1 level.

Having launched the MDF production in September of 2003 and having achieved quite a high level of quality today, the company does not stop at the steps achieved with the understanding that development is not possible without introduction of new technologies and production quality improving.
