"United Panel Group" reports the results of The Year 2004

The year 2004 was quite stable for company in all aspects. Total production output of plywood rose by 2% up to 121500m3. Big size plywood (5x10) increased by 40% in comparison to 2003. And it is planned to augment the total plywood output on 25% with the capacity to produce up to 140,000 cubic meters annually.

Plywood produced by "UPG" was successfully certified in accordance with CE norms in March, 2004. The participation in two major international furniture exhibitions "Euroexpomebel" and "Furniture 2004" (Moscow, Russia) is considered to be important events for the company.

Main focus of the company was kept on development of MDF production. In accordance with earlier scheduled plan there were made several alterations such as installation of "Valon Kone" debarker in August 2004 and trimming line modernization, which allowed varying the MDF board's length. A number of foreign professionals from Sweden, Austria, Finland and Poland were involved in ongoing process of optimization and development of products and production technology.
