United Panel Group is expanding its production assortment

United Panel Group company is expanding its production assortment and in the nearest future will offer its customers not only sanded but film faced panels of MDF and HDF of its own production.

Following the definite plan of MDf production development, in June 2005 the process of film facing press installation have been started. The capacity of the press is 60 000 cub.m.

The capability of the equipment being installed allow to film the panels of all sizes that UPG produces with the thickness from 6mm up to 24 mm.

UPG will offer both single and two sides film faced panels.

For the film facing process it is planed to utilize the different types of film, from 70 gr/m2 up to 240 gr/m2. The films will be supplied with such respectable companies as Interprint, Schattdecor, Penzadecor, "Letron-Funder".

Except this, with this equipment there will be film faced plywood produced, with the thickness from 6mm up to 30 mm, both with smooth and wire mashed surface.

It is planned to start delivering film faced panels in the end of the 3rd quarter of 2005.
