UPG Europe has received certificate № SW-COC-002441 according to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
United Panel Group Europe is pleasure to announce that in June 2007 our company has received certificate №
SW-COC-002441 according to international Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for supporting the growth of responsible forest management standards.
In that way from this point UPG is providing complete trade chain for delivering products with marking FSC from "producer - to end-user".
In addition it should be underlined that the Zheshart Plywood Industrial Complex (UPG production subdivision) has already passed a SmartWood Chain-Of-Custody audit according to the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) standards. As a result of the audit, Zheshart Plywood Industrial Complex was assigned the registration code
SW-COC-2160.
The FSC Certification assessment was accomplished by the NEPCon Company which represents the FSC accredited SmartWood programme in Russia, Eastern Europe and Scandinavian countries.
Subsequently UPG Europe provides the following products, which could be delivered according to SmartWood Chain-of-Custody Standard for FSC-mixed credit material and CW (controlled wood) materials:

The aim of the FSC certified chain "producer - to - end user" is in tracing the whole way the product undergoes from raw material harvested in forest to the product which receives the end user including all the consequential stages of its processing.
